I keep looking at this stuff wondering what I'm doing with it and how best to be a good steward of it, how to present it, etc. I'll let you know what I find out re Jack Dodson. Can't wait to get to find his family. Or him! Fingers crossed... Well, I for one have looked at all the items that I have dug up not as owning them but more as a 'care taker' as when my days here are over someone else will have to take possession of these historic and somewhat valuable items. I do hope that you are able to find the owner or his family to return that great bracelet to. You are correct that that is a WWII Army Air Corps ID bracelet. It is a shame that there is not a Service number on the back side or even a home address. I think it is great that you are looking for the owner and not thinking about the silver melt value or selling it on an on-line auction site. One of the great aspects of a good TH'er (Treasure Hunter) is high ethics and with you searching for the owner shows me that you are ethical in how you search. I am hoping that you and Cheryl will visit me in Virginia for some TH'ing sometime.<br />DaveTHing4CSAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05938760243815735359noreply@blogger.com
